Left Coast Laced
In 2012, while at track practice, I sustained a life threatening skull fracture. Immediately, the competitive sports, that I had grown up to love, and cherish had been taken away from me. Scrambling to find a way to stay connected to the sports scene, my friends, and the competitive environment, Left Coast Laced was born. I began by taking my teammates cleats, and transforming them to best match our uniforms for the week. From there, business blossomed. During my Freshman year of college, I met, and befriended NFL Safety Jordan Poyer, currently on the Buffalo Bills. Jordan was the first of many professional athletes to collaborate on custom cleats with Left Coast Laced, and since then, my passion project, turned business has been seen in NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA games. Each pair is taped, sanded, and hand painted, and typically requires 20-30 hours of work.
